Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Asset-Lens (the "Services"), provided by Asset-Lens ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Services

Asset-Lens is an accounts-payable automation platform for small and mid-sized businesses. The Services include AI-based invoice extraction, approval workflows, and integrations with accounting software like QuickBooks Online.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account, and keep that information up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@assetlens.io of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload content you do not have the right to upload
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
  • Use automated systems to access the Services in a way that exceeds

  • Resell or sublicense the Services without our written permission

4. Subscription and Billing

If you subscribe to a paid plan you agree to pay the fees described at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from the Billing settings page; your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

5. Your Data

You retain all rights to the data you upload (invoices, vendor records, etc.). You grant us a limited license to process that data only as necessary to provide the Services. We will not use your data to train shared AI models.

6. Confidentiality

We will treat your data as confidential and apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it from unauthorized access. See our Privacy Notice for details.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Upon termination we will provide you with an opportunity to export your data for at least 30 days, after which we may delete it.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE AI EXTRACTION WILL BE 100% ACCURATE. YOU REMAIN RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING ALL EXTRACTED INVOICE DATA BEFORE APPROVAL.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
